GROUNDWORK

Assess client needs and goals; conduct secondary background research for national and regional trends.

PRELIMINARY RESEARCH


Write and conduct internal survey as necessary for the specific client. Tactics may include personal or phone interviews, written surveys, focus groups, or e-surveys.

TARGET MARKET RESEARCH PREPARATION

Development of survey tools, writing of external survey (based on selected research method), and recruitment of respondents.  As necessary, coordination and placement of promotions, advertising, and public relations in order to raise awareness and recruit participation for the research project.

TARGET MARKET RESEARCH EXECUTION

Contact with individuals and organizations as necessary to fulfill the research goals. Tactics may include personal or phone interviews, written surveys, focus groups, or e-surveys.

ANALYSIS & REPORT OF FINDINGS

Coding and tallying responses, statistical analysis of results, strategic review of findings, development of summary report, and presentation of summary to client.

DEVELOPMENT OF STRATEGIC MARKETING PLAN

Development of goals and objectives, plus recommendations for various marketing communications pieces based on research findings.

DEVELOPMENT OF MARKETING TACTICS AND BUDGET

Estimating various marketing communications pieces outlined in Strategic Marketing Plan, creative rationale, preparation of production schedules for client-requested projects, and negotiating media buys or strategic partner relationships.
